Export buying lifts jeera |

Jeera prices, in futures and spot
market, gained on the back of strong export demand.
On the NCDEX, jeera November contract
gained Rs.75 at Rs.11,450 a quintal with an open interest of 4,677
lots, while the December series was up Rs.55 to Rs.11,535. The spice
moved up by Rs.15-20 to Rs.1,800-2,100 for a maund of 20 kg in Unjha
and it was traded up by Rs.15 to Rs.1,750-1,950 in Rajkot.
Jeera prices looks to remain firm in the near term looking to good
overseas demand whereas the sowing progress in coming weeks would be
