HeadLine : Chana rules firm on slack buying

Chana ruled stable on subdued buying and demand with chana (kanta) being quoted at Rs.2,925-50 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at Rs.2,700 and chana (mausmi) at Rs.2,800. 

Given adequate stock in chana both with the stockists and government agencies, any rise and fall in chana prices in the coming days depend on current crop report,. Chana dal (average) was at Rs.3,000-3,150, chana dal (medium) at Rs.3,250-3,350, while chana dal (bold) ruled at Rs.3,700-3,900. Dollar chana also ruled stable at Rs.4,000-5,000 on subdued and scattered buying support.

 In container also, dollar chana 42/44 count was at Rs.5,275-5,300, 44/46 count Rs.5,075-5,100, 58/60 count Rs.4,350-75, while 60/62 count was quoted at Rs.4,250-75 a quintal.
