Export enquiries lift jeera |
Date : |
Apr 24 2015 |
Spot jeera prices were higher on the
back of strong export as well as good domestic enquiries. Moreover,
shortage of quality product supply supported the price rise. Arrival
was also bit slower. About 15,000-17,000 bags arrived and price was
up Rs.25-30 to Rs.3,200-3,500 for best quality per 20 kg. Average
quality jeera was traded at Rs.3,000-3,200 and dull quality
Rs.2,800-3,000. Old stocks of jeera fetched Rs.3,100-3,200. At Rajkot
APMC, arrival was at 1,800 bags and price was up Rs.25 to
Rs.3,000-3,300 Source :-Business Line
