Stock limit conditions and slack buying at higher rates have dragged mustard oil prices in mandis across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat, with prices in Indore mandis being quoted at Rs.878 on Thursday.

Similarly, mustard oil prices in Neemuch and Moorena mandis declined to Rs.870 and Rs.885. In Rajasthan mandis, mustard oil traded low on slack buying, with prices both in Kota and Ganga Nagar being quoted at Rs.900 each. Similarly, in Jaipur and Gujarat, mustard oil traded low at Rs.915 and Rs.870 (increased arrival and weak demand in mustard oil have dragged mustard seeds and raida with mustard seeds declined to Rs.3,900, while raida also declined by Rs.300 to 4,400 a quintal).

Plant deliveries of mustard oil for the Jaipur line too traded low at Rs.4,875-4,880 on weak demand in mustard seeds from crushers.
