Mixed trend in sugar |

Sugar market ruled steady with minor
changes on Wednesday on routine volumes. Prices for S-grade were down
Rs.24 a quintal, while that of M-grade was up by Rs.10. Naka and mill
tender rates were unchanged.
Arrivals and local dispatches remained
normal and as producers are continuously selling, stockists stayed
away from fresh bulk buys.Arrivals to the Vashi market were at 60-62
truck loads while local dispatches were at 58-60 loads. The Bombay
Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade Rs.3,126-3,231
(3,126-3,255) and M-grade Rs.3,212-3,352 (3,202-3,352). Naka delivery
rates: S-grade Rs.3,100-3,120 (3,100-3,120) and M-grade
Rs.3,150-3,250 (3,150-3,250). Source:-Business Line
