HeadLine : Jeera gains on short covering

 Jeera price in futures gained on the back of speculative buying by traders, though it edged up on the spot on moderate demand.

Traders said that export demand was slow and domestic buying was also normal.

About 500-700 bags arrived in Rajkot and price increased by 15 to 2,600-3,200 per 20 kg. At Unjha mandi of Gujarat, jeera arrival was registered at 20,000 bags and prices were up by 15 to 2,700-3300 per 20 kg.
