Turmeric pales on quality |

Spot turmeric prices decreased further on Thursday at Erode markets as only poor quality of the produce arrived.
On Thursday, 1,238 bags of medium and poor quality turmeric arrived for sale and only 25 per cent of them got sold.
Regarding the price, finger turmeric was down Rs 300 a quintal while root variety lost Rs 200. Traders said only by next week the farmers may bring good quality turmeric and the sales will increase.
